On Thursday Nov 30th, the LEES+Associates team gathered at Bowen Island Lodge for our 16th annual winter retreat.
We explored the theme, “Looking Forward,” through short presentations, fun graphic exercises and visionary brainstorming sessions, punctuated by coffee, lunch—and cool walks in the rain.

Erik Lees was one of the speakers at the World Design Summit held in Montreal, Canada last week.
Erik’s presentation “Resilience in northern cemetery design: lessons from Nunavut” addressed the congress theme DESIGN FOR EARTH. The congress convened over 3,500 delegates from six design disciplines to discuss transforming the future through design.
