Junior Landscape Designer – Guelph, ON
LEES+Asspcoates is currently seeking a creative and self-motivated junior landscape designer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of design packages, master plans, concept plans, and written reports. Working closely with senior design professionals and collaborating with the team, you will help create impactful landscapes that positively influence people, communities, and the environment. Our Guelph office specializes in projects ranging from cemetery, recreation, and trail master plans to detailed designs for cemetery developments, parks, and trails. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $85,000, with compensation based on level of experience.
Key Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree from a recognized landscape architecture program, landscape design program, or other similar technical program.
- 1 – 3 years of experience working in the field of landscape architecture and/or multi-disciplinary consulting.
- Experience from conceptual design to construction document preparation and contract administration.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to assume progressively responsible roles in our firm.
- Excellent oral, written, and graphic communication skills, including proficiency in report writing and formatting.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience in the cemetery, parks, open space, trails, and recreation planning and design.
- Eligible for professional registration
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- ISA designation
- Experience with graphic 3D modelling (Sketchup, Lumion, Revit, etc.) would be considered an asset.

Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect – Vancouver Office
LEES+Associates is seeking a Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect to join our team as a project manager. In this role, you will lead small teams on design and planning projects related to cemeteries and cultural landscapes, primarily for municipal and Indigenous clients across Canada and the US. Projects range from master plans to concept design, detailed design and construction documents. Projects reflect current trends such as financial, social and environmental sustainability, accessibility and reconciliation. Engagement with staff, elected officials, interest groups, and the public is a critical piece of all our projects.
This position is for a creative, self-directed individual, with a passion for sacred and meaningful landscapes, interested in learning and growing into a leader in a collaborative, team environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized Landscape Architecture program;
- Demonstrated project management experience, and
- Demonstrated graphic, report writing and communication skills.
