1. Landscape Designer – Vancouver Office
LEES+Associates is actively looking for an entry-level Landscape Designer who is passionate, creative, and collaborative to join our team in Vancouver. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our expanding practice, contributing to diverse projects including parks, open spaces, and civic and cultural projects across Canada and the US.

Qualifications:

  • 0-3 yrs of work experience in landscape design, planning, and public engagement
  • Bachelor or Masters degree from a recognized Landscape Architecture program (or closely related degree)
  • Interest in the design and planning of parks, open spaces, trails, civic spaces, cemeteries, and cultural landscapes
  • Demonstrated graphic and technical skills
  • Competence in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office required
  • GIS, 3D rendering, and visualization skills are assets
  • Strong writing and formatting skills are required

2. Landscape Designer/Intermediate Landscape Architect – Whitehorse Office
LEES+Associates is seeking a passionate, creative and collaborative Landscape Designer/Architect to join our Northern office in Whitehorse, Yukon. This is an opportunity to join our growing northern practice working on a range of parks, open space, civic and cultural projects across Canada’s Territories and northern regions. Qualifications include:

  • 1-5 years of full-time experience post-graduation;
  • Bachelor or Masters degree from a recognized Landscape Architecture program (or closely related degree);
  • Interest in design and planning of parks, open spaces, trails, civic spaces and cultural landscapes;
  • Demonstrated graphic and technical skills;
  • Keen understanding of conceptual and schematic design, 3D rendering, detailing and construction document preparation;
  • Competence in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office
  • Strong report writing and formatting skills;
  • Willingness to assume progressively responsible roles in our firm.
