Tuva is a Norwegian landscape designer passionate about creating meaningful, site-specific places for memorialization. Her hands-on experience at several cemeteries has shaped a nuanced understanding of how these spaces function both physically and emotionally.
Her master’s thesis explored approaches to noise pollution in cemeteries, forming the basis for an urban cemetery design that integrates social and ecological processes. This research-driven perspective informs her holistic approach to landscape design, where context, creativity, and technical expertise come together.
Working across scales, she uses graphic design, 3D modelling, and storytelling to explore and communicate ideas, translating complex social, ecological, and spatial considerations into thoughtful and compelling design concepts.
