Alix MacKay

Alix takes a creative and innovative approach to the design, planning, and community engagement process, blending a background in non-profit and museum work with a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture (MLA) from the University of British Columbia. Her graduate thesis explored the recreational potential of industrial landscapes in Northern BC, looking at how public use and industry can co-exist in novel ways.

She is passionate about finding new ways of connecting people to the outdoors, working to build a better and more inclusive public realm. Having worked in a wide range of design environments, she brings a diverse set of skills to the team including graphic production, CAD, 3D modeling, trails planning, and community consultation.
